We are really pleased to celebrate together this important milestone in our work to open up access to more effective TB treatment.

But there’s more to do. J&J are cutting out many countries from this deal, leaving many people with TB still in desperate need of bedaquiline.

This has to change. We hope you will continue to support our efforts for access to affordable medicines.

More than ever in this time of COVID-19, we need to remember that many of the new tools now under development against the virus are, like bedaquiline, funded by public and philanthropic investments.

As such they must be regarded as ‘public goods’ and made available at cost to everyone.
